Mini Milestones...

I have no pictures, because it wasn't really something to have pictures about, but I just needed to document for posterity's sake. As dumb as this may sound to some of you, today is the first time in the eight and a half years Tyson and I have been married, that I made Sunday dinner from start to finish on my very own. That's not to say that I can't cook, I just haven't cooked Sunday dinners...ever. Oh, I've contributed in one way or another, but never cooked the entire meal. For some reason, when we first got married, Tyson just took over Sunday dinners. He came from a family that had real meat on Sundays. I didn't. My family had chicken on Sundays. Not that it isn't real meat, its just not "man" meat. We still have it occasionally, just not every Sunday. Today I made Parmesean (sp) Chicken and Potato Casserole with salad. I was so into making this meal all by myself, that not only was it cooked before Tyson got home from his Church duties, but the kitchen was cleaned up and the only evidence that I had even been in the kitchen was the lingering smell of the breaded chicken. The salad was even made. Not only was this a major event in that way, but my kids all ate everything on their plates. We gave each child a small portion of everything that was served.
For the record, I do cook the entire meal every other day of the week. :)
Like I said though, its not a major milestone, but Tyson and I were just joking around at dinner that this hasn't happened before, so I thought I'd just document it.

Well good deal... I still have 4 years then before I feel bad that I haven't cooked a full meal from start to finish on a Sunday! lol!

Congratulations!!
Ha ha!!
Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever cooked sunday dinner completely on my own... Josh loves to cook, and he'll either do it all on Sunday, or most of it...
