Family pictures

Before I start with the explanation of this post, I just have to say, we had a busy day as far as moms go. Today while I was teaching piano, Jefferson decided to try his hand at rolling over and went from his back to his front. YEAH!! He's done it two more time since then. He's almost there from tummy to back, but I'll give him a few more days on that one. Also, tonight while I was getting ready to start dinner, Jake came into the kitchen trying to take his shirt off, telling me he had to go potty. I asked him if he needed to go potty and he said yes, so we went into the bathroom, stripped him down and sat on the potty. I told him to go tinkle, I know, its a very grown up word, but after I said that, he went a little bit, so I got excited for him and he went some more. YEAH!! We might be seeing the end of his diaper days. I hope. He went again as we were getting ready for bed. I'm so excited. Now, on to the rest of the post...

A few weeks ago, I enlisted in my sister-in-laws help to get some family pictures done. For some reason, I have felt like we need to get a family picture. She did a great job! The hard part is getting four kids to cooperate so you can find a decent picture that someone isn't picking a nose, or making a funny face in. So, that being said, these are the ones that worked out and look good...now the decision as to which one of the family ones to blow up and hang on my wall. So, anyone who has an opinion, I'm open to them. These are the decisions I don't like to make.
I know a lot of these are very similar, but there is a slight difference.

I like this one. My sister-in-law is trying to manipulate the picture to see if they can't get Jefferson's eyes opened and Jakes hand out of his mouth. I hope it works.

These are just a few of the kids pictures. I'm not sure what I'll do with them, but I'm sure I'll figure something out.

We had to wake Jake up from a very short nap on the way up the canyon. He wasn't too happy about it, and as such, didn't really work with us on getting a good picture with his cute smile. Instead he has to have this terrified look on his face.

Congratulations on having a GREAT mom day! All the pictures turned out so cute. Like you, I like the one in front of the water and my second favorite is the first one of you guys sitting down. However I love Tyler in the second. Good luck deciding.

Lucky you! I wish Micah was intrested in using the potty... maybe I should use the would 'tinkle' and she'll go. She tells me when she needs her diaper changed, so I guess it's a start.
I think all of the pictures are cute... I know some of them have silly faces, or picking the nose or hands in front of the face, but I really think they all tured out good. And you have to remember, they're kids... they are going to do silly things like that. I dunno though... but I think you guys look great!
